PubChem now on Social Media

Posted on September 3, 2013.

Welcome to the PubChem Blog!

As a means to reach out and engage with you – the user community – the PubChem Social Media campaign is now launched!  We have created accounts on TwitterFaceBook, and Google+ to post information about new PubChem features and data updates. These Social Media postings augment the existing PubChem announcements page and RSS feed. Follow us to help keep tabs on what is new in PubChem.

New PubChem Sharing Capabilities

PubChem now includes the ability to “share” AssayCompound, and Substance summary pages with your friends and colleagues.

A highlight of this PubChem Social Media campaign is this blog! PubChem will author posts on topics such as:

  • PubChem Explained – providing perspective on PubChem resources and procedures to help you better understand us and avoid misconceptions and misunderstandings.
  • What’s New – introduces our new and updated resources and includes specific examples that demonstrate how you can use these resources to enhance your research.
  • Quick Tips & Tricks – explains how to perform specific tasks based on your questions and suggestions.
  • Science Features – explores current topics in science and demonstrates how you can find relevant data or resources on our website for further exploration.

For more information see the About page which lists important information about our Comment, Privacy, Linking and Disclaimer Policies.
